All participants are invited to submit a one-page abstract and an registration form via e-mail for presentation at the conference to the corresponding delegate in each region. Other participants beyond the above four regions may submit their papers directly to the Program Committee of this symposium (yabec(atmark)bio.eng.osaka-u.ac.jp). All abstracts will be considered for oral or poster sessions. Authors may indicate a preference for oral or poster presentation on the registration form.

Excellent presentations in the Poster session are awarded at the ceremony in Banquet. 

Deadline:  
Deadline for abstract submission is August 15th, 2008.
Abstract submission was closed on August 29th, 2008. 
Notification of acceptance will be sent to the authors by e-mail before September 10th, 2008.

Abstract Format:
● All accepted one-page abstracts will be published as received in the  symposium proceedings, which will be available at the registration
● Typewritten on A4 paper with margins of 2.5 cm (top, bottom, left and right)
● Font: Times New Roman
● Title: bold and centered (14 pt)
● Authors and affiliation: 11pt, with the presenting author indicated by an underline
● Text: 11 pt, single spaced and fully justified
● File Format: Microsoft Word DOC file (should not exceed 1 Mbyte)

Poster Presentation

All poser presenters are expected to prepare 45 seconds flash (oral) presentation. Please prepare a single page PDF slide, and send it to yabec@bio.eng.osaka-u.ac.jp by Nov 15th.
